In addition, cities are getting denser and the highways are getting narrower.

Road accidents will therefore inevitably occur. Whenever you pick up a newspaper, there are usually a few stories regarding traffic accidents every day. They result in both material and fatalities. Regardless of the kind of transportation they use, people should exercise greater caution when driving. Due to the increase in these incidents, even those walking are not safe. People see accidents firsthand, through families, and even in the news on a daily basis.

Highway Accident Occurrence

I once saw a traffic accident while returning home after my holiday shopping. It was about six o’clock in the evening when my sister and I were together. We spotted a group of people gathered around something in the center of the road. Our initial assumption was that there was likely a fight between two men, so we weren’t entirely sure what was going on. But when we got there, we discovered there had been an accident.

We subsequently learned the entire tale. A truck struck a man who was crossing the street, seriously injuring him. People were calling for an ambulance as the man lay bleeding heavily on the ground. We quickly called for help, but there wasn’t much time left. Consequently, a driver picked up the man in his car and drove him to the hospital.

The cops then showed up because the people had apprehended the driver and were physically abusing him. The driver was apprehended by the police when they arrived and they questioned him about the incident. We discovered later that the driver had been intoxicated. After detaining him, the police proceeded to the hospital to obtain a statement. Thankfully, it was decided that the driver was not in danger. His wounds were dressed, and the physicians advised him that shock was still present.

I became aware of how valuable life is after that occurrence. Furthermore, how we take it for granted. Whether we are in a car, on foot, or on the road, we must all use extreme caution. We can enact policies that will stop auto accidents.

Preventing Road Accidents

In order to lower the death rate, we must prevent traffic accidents. Thousands of people lose their lives in traffic accidents each year. Traffic laws need to be taught to kids at a young age. They need to learn the importance of life and how to protect it.

The Car Accident That Occurred

The first car collision I saw was one I still recall. It had altered the way I saw life. I can still clearly recall the day and the date. The date was September 20, 2016. I was on my way back home from tuition. My mom had arrived to collect me. It was approximately six o’clock at night. A few steps away from the bus stop, at the bus stand, we noticed a massive throng of people. Some of the males in the crowd were yelling in the local tongue.

We were unable to comprehend what was happening at first. It took some time for us to realize that there had been an accident after we carefully overheard everyone nearby talking. So we questioned a shopkeeper what had transpired in order to get to the bottom of it. He acknowledged to us that there had been an earlier mishap. He went on to give us a detailed description of everything that happened. There was a person crossing the street, he said.

A passenger’s bus had struck him. The man was found on the street, bleeding. After that, the locals cornered the bus and attacked the driver. The police were notified of the situation. When the police arrived, they pronounced the person deceased. They did, however, send him to the hospital out of formality, although the shopkeeper says there is little chance of a miracle.

How I feel

I was reminded of how fleeting life is by this experience. Instead of that man, it very easily could have been me or a loved one. The man was following the rules, therefore he wasn’t at blame; nonetheless, he had to die as a result of another reckless man’s ignorance. I still get bothered by this scar on my mind from this occurrence sometimes.

Accident on the Road:

Once I was coming back from my office at that time when I witnessed a road accident. I was with my co-worker and it was around 6 o’clock in the evening. In the middle of the road, we saw a crowd surrounding something. We weren’t sure what was happening as the first thought that came to our mind was that it was probably a quarrel between two groups of people but then after reaching the spot, we found that an accident had taken place.

After talking with the people present there, we came to know that a man who was crossing the road met with an accident while crossing the road. A truck passing by hit him leaving him with serious injuries. The man was lying on the ground bleeding and people were calling for an ambulance, plus they also informed the police about the incident.

Subsequently, the police arrived and caught the driver of the truck as people had already taken a hold of the driver. During the investigation with the driver, the cops came to know that the driver was drunk and was driving the vehicle. Later on, cops detained him and took the injured person to the nearest hospital, and took a statement from the injured person. The driver was released later based on the statement given by the person. That incident made me realize how precious our lives are and we must be very careful when we are walking on the road, on foot, or driving a car.
