To form the past indefinite tense, we usually add -ed to the base form of regular verbs .For example ( Visit) in this tense we will write it (Visited). What is Past Indefinite Tense?
The past indefinite tense, also called the simple past tense, it is used to talk about actions or events that happened and were completed in the past time.

- For most verbs, add -ed for example (visit> visited). Some verbs are irregular and change differently for example (go > went).
When to apply it:
- To describe something that happened at a specific time in the past . For Example ,She visited her friend yesterday.

Main verb: 2nd form of verb ( past indefinite form )
Remember. 2nd form of verb is used only in positive sentence. In negative or question sentences, 1st for of verb is used as the main verb, and ‘did’ is used as auxiliary verb.

In a negative Sentences did not is used and 1st form of verb is used.

- Subject + did + not + 1st form of verb + object

- She did not watch TV.

The question sentences starts with ‘did’ and 1st form of verb is used in the sentence.
